Staffing Guidelines

We are interested in putting together a group to establish some guidelines for staffing our department. This group would be responsible for drawing up a staffing plan and guidelines for vacation requests. We need staff from the O.R. to design the O.R. plan and staff from Short Stay & PACU to put a plan together for their unit. If you are interested in volunteering to be on this committee please see Paula. Also, looking for HCA's that are interested in helping to put together a working schedule for all areas. CPR Renewal

The University is changing its policy on CPR renewal. CRP certification will expire at the end of the month of the expiration date. The University will no longer offer the 90 day grace period for recertification. Employees will no longer be able to take the renewal class if they go beyond the end of the month of the expiration date, you will be required to take the full class over again. Please check your expiration date and sign up for a renewal class on the Clinical Staff Education web site http://uuhsc.utah.edu/cse/
